Introducing the next generation of Survey analytics and retargeting
At Pick1 we are working hard to build a different survey technology that lets you focus on survey respondents as well as responses. We believe that surveys are not only a way to collect answers and opinions, but also a way to understand who is giving those opinions and why.
Today we are moving forward on that vision with Pick1 Audiences. Pick1 Audiences are a way to segment your respondents based on a wide number of social, demographic and survey criteria. An audience is an actionable segment of your respondents community that is updated in realtime as you collect responses in you surveys.
A top Customer request for the past few weeks, Audiences are a great tool to understand and analyze your community, but the real power comes from the ability to sync user segments with the external services that you use daily for your retargeting activities. In the following weeks we will keep adding more and more services, and today we are starting with MailChimp.
To create a Pick1 Audience, login into your account and click on the “Audiences” section on the left menu and then click on the “Add new” button.
You will be presented with the following screen:
From this screen you can:
Give a custom name to the segment that you are creating
Decide if you want to target only respondents of specific surveys or all your respondents
Specify the conditions that a respondent need to fulfil to belong to the segment. You can add as many conditions as you like and they can be chained in AND or in OR.
When you are done defining the conditions, click the “Save” button and in a few seconds your Audience will be created and populated with the existing respondents that match your criteria. The Audience will be constantly populated with new respondents as they answer your surveys.
You can create as many Audiences as you like, and you can always go back to an Audience to edit it.
In a following post we will describe how to sync an Audience with MailChimp to update in realtime your MailChimp lists.
